How to live outside the comfort zone?
“Comfort is not an enemy but a false friend who is dangerous and who will destroy you silently.”

The Comfort zone is an imaginary circle that we draw around us with several limits that act as a shield around the comfort zone. The height of the shield increases with the belief you put in not taking the risk. One day this shield becomes so strong and makes the zone a prison that is very hard to break. Some people dwell in it all their lives and die in vain with regret.
Comfort is what we all desire in our life. But the real comfort is about not being comfortable at all. Comfort feels good, but it doesn’t give you big things in life. The real comfort and freedom exist outside our comfort zone. Most people are living a life of a frog in the well, wasting time doing the work they hate, worrying about things that don’t matter, living somebody else’s life following other's opinions and judgment.
“Don’t be a lifetime prisoner in your own prison.”
You need to realize at least now that you are building your own prison. You should understand that comfort is bad for growth. Once you step out of it, you will see the real challenges in the real world. You will experience real freedom.
We, humans, are born wild, and that’s why as children we did whatever we wanted. We didn’t ask for other’s opinions. We didn’t think about what others think. We didn’t give up easily. We did things that brought us pain and learned things in life. But as we grew up, everything changed. Our people and society tamed us and made us domestic from the wild. We learned limits that limited our courage and unlimited our fears. This made us not take any risks. Instead, we learned to follow the outdated systems that we hate. We learned to fake our feelings. We learned to live a programmed life that made us robots.
Understand the harm that’s happening to you. People don’t want to see you succeed differently. They want to make you live like them and have control over you. That’s why these systems and rules are made in the name of civilization. The secret to true living lies in living primitively as wild humans who take risks and survive well.
Fix your mind and leave your prison, the comfort zone, and start taking risks that help you rise above all.
- Do what is uncomfortable: You have certain habits that keep you comfortable. Don’t follow those habits.
For example: If you have the habit of sleeping more, start breaking the habit and sleep enough and wake up fast. If you are lazy to exercise, exercise today. Whatever bad habits you have, break them one by one slowly and keep doing it without quitting.
- Take risks: What scares you more? Do such things starting today.
For example: If you fear heights. Climb to heights and experience the world from that place. If you scared of starting a business, start it and work on it every day.
- Consume inspiration: Stay inspired and motivated and force yourself to do things that improve your life.
- Don’t care judgment: Don’t do things in life for the sake of others. Do what you love and be yourself.
Comfort zone cheats you, saying your life is well even though it’s not. Therefore, break your comfort zone and experience real life.
